Skylar Brett is a Senior Staff Attorney & Legal Intern/Extern Coordinator at Public Defender Association since November 2021. Previously, Skylar worked as an Appellate Public Defender at Law Office of Skylar Brett from July 2016 to January 2023, and as a Staff Attorney at Backlund & Mistry -- Appellate Public Defense from April 2013 to July 2016. Skylar holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from University of Washington School of Law and Bachelor's degrees in Cultural Studies from The Evergreen State College.
