Eric Schott

Founding Advisor at Purpose Health

Eric Schott is a founding advisor at Purpose Health, a position they have held since December of 2017. Prior to that, they were a PhD candidate at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry from August of 2013 until December of 2017, studying the effect of the gut microbiome on various musculoskeletal conditions. Eric was also an undergraduate research assistant at Harvard Medical School from September of 2012 until January of 2013, where they were involved in investigating the impact angiogenesis has on the progression of both prostate cancer and meduloblastoma.

Eric Schott received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stonehill College. Eric then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Cell Biology of Disease from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Lastly, they received a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell Biology of Disease from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
