Alexander de Kegel

Alexander De Kegel serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at Allianz X North America LLC since October 2019, leading the unit's daily operations focused on strategic investments in insurance and wealth management-related ecosystems, with a portfolio of approximately USD 1 billion in assets under management. In addition to this role, Alexander holds various board positions, including board observer roles at Purpose Unlimited and CLARK, and serves as a board member for Pie Insurance. Prior to joining Allianz X, Alexander worked at Fidelity International, where responsibilities included proprietary investments, M&A, and corporate development. Alexander's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Economics and Strategy from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management from the University of East Anglia.
