Previously, Marus worked as an Ambassador at Zilis from November 2016 to June 2023, a company recognized as the "Amazon" of Health and Wellness. Marus also has a solid coaching background, having held roles such as Co-Head Team Coach at Metroplex Gymnastics from May 1999 to June 2010, Developmental Coach at WOGA from January 1997 to May 1999, and Boys Team Head Coach at Texas Topps Gymnastics from September 1995 to December 1997. Marus completed education at Texas State University-San Marcos from 1994 to 1998.
