Jonathan Gear

Jonathan Gear is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IHS Markit. Earlier, he served as president of resources, transportation and CMS for IHS Markit, including business lines supporting the automotive, energy, chemicals, maritime and aerospace industries. In addition, he served in multiple Senior Vice President positions and as President and COO of IHS CERA. Jonathan previously held leadership positions at Activant Solutions, smarterwork.com and Booz Allen Hamilton. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
