Abhishek Lal

Abhishek Lal has a wealth of experience in the field of finance and accounting. Abhishek started their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Accountant, where they worked from February 2009 to January 2013. Abhishek then moved on to Suncorp Life New Zealand, where they served as a Financial Accountant from January 2013 to April 2015. In 2016, Abhishek joined HSBC as a Financial Reporting Manager and stayed there until April 2017. Since August 2017, Abhishek has been with Pushpay, initially as a Group Accounting Manager and currently holding the position of Group Financial Controller.

Abhishek Lal began their education journey in 2005 at The University of Auckland, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. Abhishek dedicated four years to this program, completing their coursework in 2009. During their time there, they were also awarded a GradDip in Economics from the same university, which they earned between 2008 and 2009. Seeking further qualifications, Abhishek enrolled in the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2010, undertaking studies to become a Chartered Accountant. Abhishek completed this program in 2011.
