Shannon Sofield

Shannon Sofield has a long and varied work experience. Shannon began their career in 1998 as an Assistant Coach at Princeton University, where they planned, organized, and managed practices, trips, and competitions for the Division I wrestling team. Shannon then joined PayPal in 1999 as a member of the Developer Advisory Board, providing external guidance and feedback on numerous PayPal payment platform initiatives. In 2001, they became the Lead Developer for FanMass Inc, developing an email Newsletter Management Platform. In 2002, they became the Director of Payloadz, building a pioneering digital media SaaS from concept to $100M in orders. In 2003, they joined Gerson Lehrman Group as a Client Advisor, and in 2005 they became an Author at O'Reilly & Associates. In 2009, they took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Batchex, building a comprehensive payment distribution platform. In 2012, they worked as a Program Mentor for DreamIt Ventures Incubator. In 2020, they founded AdOptics, working to build the highest performing conversion optimization service. Most recently, in 2021, they began their role as Vice President of Marketing at PushPress - The Gym Operating System, managing and leading a team in planning, creating, and reporting on multi-channel, multi-touch marketing strategies.

Shannon Sofield received their MBA in Finance from Rider University in 2001 and their Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Rider University in 1998. Shannon also holds certifications from Google, Facebook, HubSpot, Amazon Web Services, International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation, The Kodokan, and PayPal.
