Trey Hassler

Trey Hassler has a rich and diverse work experience in the field of technology and law enforcement. Trey started their career in 1991 as a Communications Officer at the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. Over the years, they took on various roles such as Patrol Deputy, Information Technology Officer, and Project Manager at the Tennessee Sheriff's Association. In 1998, they became the owner of MSC Systems, and later worked as a Systems Analyst at the Putnam County Technology Department. In 2010, Trey joined the Putnam County Sheriff's Office as a Technology Officer, managing technology needs and systems. Trey then transitioned to the role of Systems Analyst at Tennessee Technological University in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Putnam Co. TN Sheriff - Eddie Farris, Sheriff.

Trey Hassler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology and Business Management from Tennessee Technological University, which they completed in 2015. In 2014, they also attained a POST Certified Law Enforcement Officer certification from Cleveland State Community College. Moreover, they enrolled in various computer learning centers to enhance their skills, including courses on VMWare vSphere, Cisco networking devices, Cisco ASA security, and Cisco CCNA study. In 2019, Trey obtained an Authorized Climber and Rescuer certification from ComTrain. Additionally, they received a POST Certified Law Enforcement Officer certification from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in 1994. Finally, from 1985 to 1992, Trey studied Industrial Technology at Tennessee Technological University.
