Kathy Showen

Kathy Showen is a seasoned education professional currently serving as a School Psychologist for Putnam County Schools since September 2023. Previously, Kathy held the same position at Jackson County Schools from September 1986 to September 1996 and worked as a Special Education Teacher for the Kanawha County Board of Education from December 1983 to September 1986. Kathy's educational background includes a Master of Arts and Educational Specialist degrees in School Psychology from Marshall University, completed between 1985 and 1992, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Multicategorical Special Education from the University of Charleston, earned from 1980 to 1983.
