Putnam County Schools
Matthew Lyon is an experienced educator and musician with a background in music education and teaching. Currently serving as an Elementary Music Teacher at Putnam County Schools since August 2021, Matthew has also held roles as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Hurricane High School and a Professional Substitute Teacher at Putnam County Schools. In addition to teaching, Matthew works as a Route Driver for Home City Ice since July 2016. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Marshall University, where studies focused on PreK-Adult education.
