Portfolio Manager, Putnam International Capital Opportunities at Putnam High Income Securities Fund

Karan Sodhi is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and equity analysis. As Portfolio Manager of the Putnam International Capital Opportunities fund since April 2017, Karan oversees a $400 million non-US small cap fund. Prior to this role, Karan served as an Equity Analyst at Putnam Investments from June 2010 to 2017, focusing on fundamental research within the International Financials and Real Estate sectors. Karan also worked as an Equity Analyst specializing in US Financials at Stark Investments from December 2007 to March 2009, and held the position of Analyst/Portfolio Manager at Putnam Investments from November 2000 to August 2007, contributing to the International Capital Opportunities fund. Karan holds an MBA in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a BA in Accounting from Hendrix College.
