Allen Canning

Allen Canning is an experienced IT professional specializing in cloud architecture and server engineering. Currently serving as a Cloud Architect at Putnam Investments since May 2007, Canning leads AWS migration projects, develops deployment strategies using Jenkins, and designs AWS architecture. Previous roles include Manager of Server Engineering at Putnam Investments, where Canning implemented Kanban workflows and developed internal private cloud services. Experience prior to Putnam includes positions at Fidelity Investments, Accenture, Collective Technologies, GTE Internetworking, Progress Software, EPM, and Cabletron, showcasing a diverse background in system administration, consultancy, and software development. Canning holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire.
