Putney Student Travel
Vicky Taylor serves as the Associate Director for the Asylum Strand at Border Criminologies at the University of Oxford, where Vicky also teaches as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant in the criminology module for undergraduate law students. With extensive experience in the field of asylum and refugee studies, Vicky is a DPhil candidate at the University of Oxford, holding funding through the Grand Union ESRC DTP and a Dervorguilla Scholarship from Balliol College. Vicky has contributed to various organizations, including as Director at Screen Share UK, advocating for digital inclusion for refugees, and as a Senior Research Officer at the UK Home Office, focusing on resettlement and integration policies. Vicky's academic background includes an MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies and a BA in Geography, both from prestigious institutions.

Since 1951, Putney Student Travel has offered high school and middle school students the opportunity and insight to shape their world through travel, unique cultural engagement, friendship, and fun. Our summer programs for teens include Service, Exploration, Language, Career, and Pre-College trips to 30+ countries around the world. We also collaborate with the Smithsonian to offer Smithsonian Student Travel; with National Geographic to offer National Geographic Student Travel; and with Harvard Chan C-CHANGE to offer Youth Summits on Climate, Equity, & Health.
