Lucas Mentzer, PMP is an experienced professional with a diverse background in software engineering, data governance, project management, and quality assurance. Lucas is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering & Data Governance at Puttshack, where they are responsible for implementing processes to manage requirements, mapping requirements to business outcomes, and guiding technology strategy. Lucas is also developing a baseline technology model and growing the team to support Puttshack's expansion.

Prior to this, Lucas worked at Vendavo as a Customer Operations Manager, overseeing a team of technical project managers, software architects, software engineers, and help desk analysts. Lucas also served as a Technical Program Manager, leading the successful delivery of multiple worldwide customer implementation projects and developing upgrade and migration methodologies.

Before joining Vendavo, Lucas worked at Kofax as an Enterprise Program Manager, where they coordinated the separation of the hardware and software divisions of the company. Lucas focused on data and systems migration, primarily from legacy SAP and SFDC systems into Microsoft Dynamics and CRM systems.

Lucas also had a significant tenure at Lexmark International, Inc., where they held various roles. Lucas served as an Acquisition & Integration Manager, leading integration strategy planning for acquired companies. Lucas also worked as an Enterprise Program Manager, overseeing the integration of multiple acquisitions and managing project managers globally. In addition, Lucas served as an IT PM for Acquisitions, where they assessed the IT landscape of acquired companies and determined the necessary actions for integration. Lucas also established the first IT Quality Assurance organization in the department, working with IT management to develop a plan for incorporating better QA practices.

Early in their career, Lucas worked at Lexmark International, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Lead, managing a team responsible for all quality assurance functions for the Product Lifecycle Management initiative. Lucas also served as a Project Lead, successfully leading a usability improvement project for the PLM system.

Before joining Lexmark, Lucas worked at Registrat, Inc. as a Lead Quality Assurance Associate, where they developed the new Quality Assurance department and was responsible for all QA functions within the company.

Lucas began their career at ACS as a Quality Assurance Associate/Programmer, where they worked on a major conversion project for several clients and was involved in the implementation of SEI's Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level I, II, and III.

Throughout their career, Lucas has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, project management, and technical expertise.

Lucas Mentzer, PMP obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Centre College, graduating in the year 2001. In March 2007, they also obtained the PMP certification from the PMI institution.
