Daniel Burkhoff

Daniel Burkhoff currently serves as the Vice President of Medical Science at HeartWare Inc. and is the Founder of PVLoops, a developer of cardiovascular educational software. With extensive medical and academic experience, Daniel holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University since 2005. Previous roles include Medical Director at Impulse Dynamics, CircuLite, Inc., Cheetah Medical Inc., and the Skirball Center for Cardiovascular Research. Daniel's academic background includes a Doctor of Medicine and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University.
