Jahin Parvez, P.E., currently serves as a Regional Engineer for the PVC Pipe Association since June 2016, providing engineering support to water and wastewater utilities and consulting firms, while also conducting seminars on PVC pipe applications and contributing to standards development in relevant organizations. Previous experience includes an engineering internship at Meyer, Meyer, LaCroix & Hixson, where water distribution systems were modeled using WaterCAD to address municipalities' water issues. At Louisiana State University, Jahin Parvez held the position of Physics Peer Instructor, recognized for effective tutoring, and also worked as an IT Assistant at Kazette Enterprises, providing technical support for local businesses. Jahin Parvez earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2016.

The Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association was founded in 1971 as a non-profit organization and is the authoritative source of information on PVC water, sewer, and reclaimed water pipe and serves the engineering, regulatory, public health and standardization communities. Our mission is to promote use of longer-life, lower-maintenance, corrosion-proof PVC pipe in water and wastewater systems – for real sustainability, strength and long-term asset management. The Association offers free technical and engineering support for the design, installation and application of PVC piping systems.
