Marge Tamas has a long and diverse work experience in the medical and healthcare industry. Marge's early career involved positions in the healthcare technology field. Marge worked as a Software developer in the departments of Nuclear Cardiology (1986-1989) and Bioengineering (1981-1986) at Crawford Long Hospital. Marge was also a Student Intern at General Electric Medical Systems, where they conducted radiology and patient monitoring product evaluations and performed performance tests of computed tomography systems. Marge held these positions from 1977 to 1981.
Marge Tamas obtained a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University from 1976 to 1981. Later, they pursued their education at Georgia State University, where they completed a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from 2010 to 2012. Subsequently, they earned a Masters in Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology from Georgia State University between 2012 and 2015.
