Sheila Patterson, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of veterinary pathobiology and microbiology, with a career at the University of Illinois spanning over two decades. Notable positions include Research Associate in the Division of Microbiology & Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, focusing on molecular assay development, as well as multiple roles as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate, examining streptococcal pathogenesis and antibiotic resistance.
