Christopher McQuillan IEng has over 15 years of work experience in various roles. Christopher started their career in 2005 as an Engineering Assistant at SCA and then moved on to work as a Manufacturing Engineer at Kiverco Recycling Systems Ltd. In 2008, they joined Nortel Networks as a Process Engineer and worked there for two years. In 2010, they joined PW Nigeria Ltd as a Quarry Supervisor and worked there for five years before transitioning to Tarmac in 2015, where they served as a Manufacturing Optimization Specialist for two years. In 2017, they returned to PW Nigeria Ltd and took on roles such as Mining Contracts Manager and Mining Director. Currently, Christopher is the Acting Managing Director - Mining at PW Nigeria Ltd.

Christopher McQuillan IEng began their education by completing a Diploma, Level 6 in International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (IDipOSH) at the British Safety Council from 2015 to 2016. Christopher then pursued a University Certificate in International Quarry Operations from the University of Derby, which they completed from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, Christopher obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Ulster University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Christopher McQuillan IEng has also obtained several certifications. Christopher received the IEng certification from the Engineering Council in November 2012. Christopher is also a member of the Institute of Plant Engineers, having obtained the MIPlantE certification in March 2012. Additionally, Christopher is a member of the Society of Operations Engineers, having obtained the MSOE certification in March 2012. Christopher is also a member of the Institute of Quarrying, although specific details about their MIQ certification, such as the obtained month and year, are unavailable.
