Olena Chekmezova

Olena Chekmezova has extensive work experience in the field of valuation and economics, particularly in the real estate sector. Olena has held various senior positions throughout their career. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Colliers International, where they were promoted to Director of Valuation & Advisory Services in 2016. At Colliers, they led a consulting subdivision of the valuation and advisory services department and managed a team. Olena was responsible for generating a significant portion of the department's revenue by providing consultancy advice on retail and mixed-use developments. Olena also led several high-profile due diligence projects, including a major retail transaction. In 2016, they joined PwC Austria as a Senior Manager in the Valuation & Economics department. Their role involved leading and managing real estate advisory and valuation projects across Austria and SEE/CEE countries. Olena was responsible for various tasks such as planning engagements, delivering projects, managing people, and ensuring quality. Their role also included business development and client relationship management. In 2023, they were promoted to Director in the same department.

Olena Chekmezova graduated with a BSc with High Honors in Natural Sciences from Nacional'nij Universitet 'Kievo-Mogiljans'ka Akademija' in Ukraine from 2000 to 2005. Olena later pursued an MA with High Honors in the EERC/KSE MA Program in Economics at Kyiv School of Economics, graduating from 2005 to 2007. During their studies, Olena was among the top 3 students in both programs. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as EXIN Agile Scrum Product Owner and EXIN Agile Scrum Master from EXIN in 2022 and 2021, respectively. Furthermore, Olena became a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2013.
