Rafael Cortes is a Partner at PwC Brasil with over 15 years of experience in Information Technology, focusing on Corporate Cyber Security Programs, Security Architectures, Incident Response, and Information Security Risk Management. Rafael has led Incident Readiness and Cyber Resilience engagements and has been instrumental in SOC transformation projects to deploy Managed Detection & Response infrastructure. Prior to this role, Rafael held various positions at Ernst & Young, specializing in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and creating Information Security policies. Rafael began their career at PwC Brasil and PwC Bulgaria, providing IT support and direct assistance for corporate networks and applications. Rafael holds an MBA in Business Management from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração and a BS in Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá.
