Igor Hitrec is a seasoned cyber security professional currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Manager at PwC Croatia since December 2022. Prior to this role, Igor held the position of Manager of Security Operation Center at beIN MEDIA GROUP from June 2018 to December 2022, where significant advancements in cyber security operations were achieved through cutting-edge technology. Igor's experience also includes working as an Information Security Expert for the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in Qatar, an Information Security Professional at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, and managing the IT Security Department at the Paying Agency in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development in Croatia. Earlier career roles include positions as an IT Security Expert at RECRO-NET and a Computer Systems Engineer at SRCE, Faculty of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture. Igor holds a specialized degree in Information Security from FER and a master's degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Zagreb.
