Brenda Nakiyaga

Brenda Nakiyaga is an experienced audit professional currently serving as an Audit Senior at PwC Danmark since January 2022, with prior experience as an Audit Assistant at Deloitte Danmark. Brenda has a strong background in external audit for top-tier international clients, adhering to PCAOB standards while identifying risks and reviewing financial statements through data analytics. As a co-founder of ETIO Leather, Brenda focused on promoting Ethiopian leather products in international markets. Previous roles include Internal Auditor and Compliance Officer at the Uganda Revenue Authority, where significant improvements in tax revenue collections and compliance were achieved. Brenda's education includes a Certified Internal Auditor credential from the Institute of Internal Auditors, an MSc in Business and Economics from Karlstad University, and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA.
