Ioannis Bizimis

Ioannis Bizimis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information security and management. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at PwC Deutschland since November 2020, Ioannis previously co-founded QuoScient GmbH, where the focus was on providing innovative solutions for cyber threat defense. Ioannis has held key roles in large organizations, including as Business Manager for the Information Security Operations team at Deutsche Bank, where management of significant budgets and financial operations occurred. Other notable positions include leadership roles in indices development at Markit, capital markets and trading systems at Sopra Steria, and IT management at Concord Financial Intermediary GmbH. Ioannis began a career in financial technology as a Product Manager at Dow Jones Telerate and holds a degree in General Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
