Laura Ro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in learning and development across various sectors, particularly in the insurance and professional services industries. Currently serving as Director, Global L&D, Performance Solutions Lead for Tax & Legal at KPMG since November 2017, Laura has previously held senior managerial roles at PwC Canada, where responsibilities included development strategy and operations as well as assurance learning and development. Prior to that, Laura managed examinations at the Insurance Institute of Canada and operated a training business focused on customized courses and licensing preparation. Laura’s career began at State Farm as an Agency Field Specialist. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Economics from York University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor.
