Dr. Paolo Pamini

Dr. Paolo Pamini serves as a National Councillor for the Canton of Ticino with the Swiss People's Party, holding a position on the Economic Affairs and Taxation Committee since December 2023. An experienced academic, Dr. Pamini has been a lecturer in Law & Finance and Swiss Tax Law at ETH Zurich and the University of Lucerne since 2008 and 2019, respectively, focusing on corporate governance and institutional economics. In addition to a career in tax and legal consulting as a Senior Manager at PwC Switzerland, Dr. Pamini has contributed to policy discourse as a Research Fellow at Liberales Institut and previously held parliamentary roles within the Repubblica e Cantone Ticino. Dr. Pamini's educational background includes a PhD in Economics from the University of Zurich, complemented by expertise as a Swiss chartered tax expert.
