Caroline Brooks is an experienced professional in environmental and indirect taxation, currently serving as the Head of the UK Environmental Taxes Practice at PwC UK since November 2022 and as a Director at PwC since September 2021. Previously, Caroline held various roles at KPMG UK, including Senior Manager for Environmental Taxes from January 2014 to August 2021, and contributed to advising clients on environmental taxes. Prior to KPMG, Caroline worked as an Indirect Taxes Associate Director at Baker Tilly and managed indirect taxes at KPMG and Grant Thornton LLP. Caroline began her career at HM Revenue & Customs as a Surveyor, with a foundational education at Childwall Valley High School in Liverpool. Caroline is currently enjoying retirement since September 2024.
