Tim Hughes

Tim Hughes is a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in private equity within the M&A tax practice. Since joining the firm as a graduate in 1983, Tim has held various roles in personal tax, corporate tax, and forensic accounting before focusing on M&A tax in 1997. Currently, Tim leads the European team focusing on management incentives and has been active in major policy debates related to private equity since 2018. Tim is also a long-standing member of the British Venture Capital Association's Tax Committee, contributing to key issues in the private equity sector since 2004.
