Janice Ventura, PMP, CSM

Janice Ventura, PMP, CSM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Janice has extensive experience managing projects and portfolios, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

In their most recent role at PWX Solutions, Janice is responsible for maintaining the digital magazine content for various brands, ensuring alignment with brand styles and managing off-shore teams.

Prior to this, they worked at Johnson & Johnson as a Project Manager II/PMO, where they oversaw organizational change and managed a project portfolio for the in-house creative marketing and Medical Device design team.

Janice also held the position of Director, Marketing Project Management, PMO at The College Board. Janice'smajor contributions include creating a web resourcing process using scrum and agile practices, streamlining workflows, and improving delivery efficiency.

Before joining The College Board, Janice served as a PMO Project Manager, e-Commerce Coordinator at Barnes & Noble, Inc., where they directed project operations for the e-commerce site, BN.com. Janice also led digital portfolio management across various digital business channels.

Janice started their career as a Production Manager at iPrint and later held the role of Production and Logistics Associate at Moleskine, where they successfully managed production and logistics activities and implemented a communication strategy.

Earlier in their career, Janice gained experience as a Production Assistant at Penthouse World Media, Inc. and as a Scheduling Supervisor at Paramount Exterminating Co. Janice developed efficient schedules, managed existing clients, and cultivated new prospects.

Janice also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Liberty Funding Corporation, where they assisted clients in the process of selling their annuities and structured settlements, and actively participated in the underwriting process.

Throughout their career, Janice has demonstrated proficiency in project management, process improvement, team collaboration, and stakeholder management. Janice'sexperience spans various industries and they have a strong track record of delivering successful projects and driving operational efficiencies.

Janice Ventura, PMP, CSM holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute, which they acquired in March 2021. In July 2019, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, Janice has completed additional certifications such as "Mastering Self-Leadership" from LinkedIn, obtained in December 2020, and "Working with High-Conflict People as a Manager" from LinkedIn, obtained in November 2021.
