Jaeyoung Lim is a PhD candidate at the Autonomous Systems Lab in ETH Zürich, focusing on informative path planning and active mapping for long endurance fixed wing aerial vehicles in challenging terrain since December 2020. As a core developer at PX4 since July 2019, contributions include maintaining the simulation component and enhancing multivehicle simulation capabilities. Earlier experience includes a role as a Drone Software Engineer at Auterion, where mission computer software was developed, and prior research positions at the University of Zurich and Seoul National University, where work involved trajectory optimization and quadrotor platforms. Military service as a sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army involved training assistance.
