Marcos Amaral

Marcos Amaral is a skilled senior surveyor with extensive experience in offshore geophysical surveys and subsea operations. Currently employed at PXGEO since January 2024, Marcos has led dual ROV OBN installations in both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Previous roles include serving as a surveyor and shift party chief at various companies such as G-tec and Next Geosolutions, where expertise in geophysical surveys and site representation was demonstrated. With a bachelor's degree in Oceanography from Universidade do Vale do Itajaí, Marcos has contributed significantly to projects for major firms, including Equinor and Nexans, specializing in seabed mapping, geotechnical investigations, and cable laying.
