Elmar Reif has been in the working world since 1999. Elmar began their career at Sparkasse Koblenz, where they held the roles of Head of Sales Department (Insurance products & Pension plans), Team Leader Building Society Products, and Junior Consultant Investment and Securities. In 2009, they joined syracom consulting AG - business efficiency engineering as a Managing Consultant and Head of Business Unit. In 2018, they moved to GFT Group as a Senior Manager Financial Services & Automotive, where they were responsible for developing new business opportunities for the global IT delivery units and driving internal change from an IT-Service provider to a customer-oriented solution enabler for digitalisation in Financial Services and Automotive. Elmar also worked as a Management Consultant (Pro Bono) at PalliativTeam Frankfurt gGmbH in 2018. In 2021, Elmar Reif began their current role as Head of Product at PXL Vision.

Elmar Reif's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from ESSEC Business School and Mannheim Business School, which they completed in 2016. In 2015, they completed a residency at Fudan University focused on Doing Business in China. Elmar also completed a Certified Banking Administrator (Management Degree) from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2004, and an Apprenticeship in Banking and Finance, Sparkasse Koblenz in 1999. In addition to their formal education, Elmar Reif has obtained several certifications, including Kanban System Design from Kanban University in 2021, Global Executive Education Certificate of Achievement in Advanced Finance from NYU Stern School of Business in 2015, Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in 2011, Certified SCRUM Product Owner (PO) from ScrumCenter GmbH in 2011, Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) from SOPHIST GmbH in 2010, and Certified Insurance Specialist (BWV) from Berufsbildungswerk der Deutschen Versicherungswirtschaft (BWV) in 2006.
