Omar Siddiqi

Omar Siddiqi is the Practice Manager PM at Project X. Omar has over six years of experience working as a project manager on multiple Scotiabank international projects, ranging from marketing and data analysis to international presence. Siddiqi is an expert at conducting and chairing project kick-off and other project-related meetings with multiple stakeholders, as well as preparing detailed project documents like scope, timelines, work breakdown structures (WBS), change request, and status reports. Omar also has a keen eye for minimizing the exposure of risk on projects, preventing scope creep, and ensuring that projects are progressing as per scope, time, and cost. Throughout their career, Siddiqi has coordinated work with design, development, and Q.A teams to ensure all project-related tasks and milestones are being achieved.

Omar Siddiqi has a BS in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University and an AS in Computer Science from De Anza College. Omar also has a certification from Scrum.org in Professional Scrum Master and a certification from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP).
