Aishwarya Kundu

Aishwarya Kundu's work experience includes holding the position of Director of preclinical research at PYC Therapeutics since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Santen, where they held multiple roles including Associate Director, Senior Scientist, Staff Scientist in Pharmaceutical Development, Global R&D, Medical Science Liaison, and Global Medical Affairs Project Manager. Aishwarya also has experience as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley, focusing on studying anticancer mechanisms and teaching various undergraduate courses. Aishwarya has also worked as a Research Assistant at Washington University School of Medicine, Research Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, and Research Fellow at Stempeutics Research Pvt. Ltd. Aishwarya began their career as an M.Phil student at Delhi University.

Aishwarya Kundu began their education at Bangalore University from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, and Botany. Aishwarya proceeded to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Medical Biochemistry at Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2002 to 2005. Following this, Aishwarya attended Baylor College of Medicine from 2010 to 2011 as a Graduate Student, specializing in Stem Cell Biology. Later, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Oncology.
