Pyhtää on Suomen ensimmäinen startup-kunta, tunti Helsingistä itään. Me haluamme olla pienen menestyvän kunnan prototyyppi Suomessa. Haluamme kyseenalaistaa luutuneet toimintatavat suomalaisessa kuntasektorissa olemalla rohkeita, luovia ja ketteriä. Ja näin olemme jo tehneetkin. Olemme mm. Suomen ulkoistetuin kunta, joka näkyy niin omistajiemme eli kuntalaistemme tyytyväisyydessä palveluihin kuin myös terveenä kuntataloutena.

Pyhtää is the first start-up municipality of Finland, an hour east of Helsinki. We want to be the prototype of a small, successful Finnish municipality. We want to question the set practices in the Finnish municipal sector by being brave, creative and agile. And we have done that. We are for example the most outsourced municipality in Finland, which reflects both on our proprietors’ i.e. residents’ satisfaction with the services as well as on healthy municipal economy.
