Ed Nugent

Ed Nugent has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Ed started their career as an Assistant Controller at the Panama Marriott Hotel in 1982 and worked there until 1984. Ed then served as the Controller at the Riyadh Marriott Hotel from 1988 to 2000 and at the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel from 1990 to 1992. In 1999, they joined Marriott International, Inc. as the VP Finance-International until 2001. In 2004, Ed joined Pyramid Hotel Group and held various finance positions, including VP Finance and SVP Finance, until 2011. From 2004 to 2014, they also worked at Pyramid Advisors as the VP of Finance and later as the SVP Finance. In 2015, they became the CFO at Hotel Asset Value Enhancement and later became the VP Regional Controller at Pyramid Global Hospitality in 2016.

Ed Nugent completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Florida State University, from 1976 to 1980. Ed then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland Global Campus, from 2001 to 2002.
