Ashley Chalmers

Ashley Chalmers has a range of work experience in the field of human resources. Ashley started their career at Towson University Incubator as a Market Information and Research Analyst, where they conducted research and drafted reports on marketing, management, and finance. Ashley also assisted member companies with research and outreach programs, facilitated events and workshops, and provided customer service.

After that, Ashley worked as a Human Resources Intern at Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates, P.A., where they gained experience and knowledge across various HR disciplines, including recruitment responsibilities such as job posting, resume screening, and verifying references.

Ashley then joined Towson University College of Business and Economics as a Student Consultant. In this role, they advised students academically, connected them to student organizations and the surrounding business community, and also facilitated school events and wrote and distributed a monthly student e-newsletter.

Moving on, Ashley joined AltaVista Strategic Partners as a HR Assistant before being promoted to the role of Human Resources Manager. During their time there, they managed HR functions and responsibilities for the company.

Currently, Ashley is working at Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. as a Human Resources Director. Ashley started with the company as a Human Resources Manager and was later promoted to the role of Human Resources Business Partner before assuming their current position.

Ashley Chalmers, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management. Ashley obtained this degree from Towson University, where they studied from 2015 to 2016. Prior to attending Towson University, Ashley Chalmers attended Hood College from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Ashley Chalmers has also obtained certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), including the SHRM Certified Professional certification in July 2018 and the SHRM Assurance of Learning certification in April 2016.
