Joshua Birkholz

Joshua Birkholz serves as the CEO and Principal Practice Leader at BWF, a position held since September 2004, and has also been a Senior Consultant within the organization. In addition, Joshua Birkholz currently holds the role of Board Member and Advisor at Pyro.Solutions since January 2023 and has been an Instructor at the Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Rice University since 2011. Previous experience includes serving as an Advisor and Board Director for an innovative fundraising technology company, Advisory Board Member at KRW International, and founding BWF Insight, which focused on data science in fundraising. Joshua Birkholz began his career as a Prospect Development Analyst at the University of Minnesota Foundation, holding various roles in prospect strategy before furthering education with extensive studies in Cultural Studies, Music, and Arts Administration across several institutions.
