David Terhune, PE, is a Principal and Project Manager at Ruggeri-Jensen-Azar, where responsibilities include managing new development projects across diverse sectors such as high-density residential, hotels, commercial, and municipal improvements since December 2014. David has extensive experience overseeing teams of drafters, engineers, and technical support staff. Prior to this role, David worked at Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, serving as a Pyrotechnic Operator and Pyrotechnician, managing pyrotechnic displays for significant events across Northern California and Maui. David's earlier positions included Senior Engineering Technician and Engineering Intern at the City of Lafayette, where key duties involved supervising contractors, drafting environmental reports, and utilizing GIS for city projects. David’s career in engineering began with an internship at the City of Pleasanton focused on roadway maintenance. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
