Ashish Nagdev

Ashish Nagdev has extensive work experience in the field of Big Data and Data Engineering. Ashish is currently working as a Lead Cloud Data Engineer at Pythian. Prior to this, they worked at TIAA as a Senior BigData | Data Science Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and developing data lake platforms, building data science platforms, and developing machine learning models. Ashish also worked at Citi as a Senior BigData Engineer, where they designed and developed real-time market trade data services and worked on trade data quality machine learning models. Earlier in their career, they worked at DataMetica Solutions Private Limited as a Senior BigData Engineer, where they designed and developed recommendation engines for a US-based retailer. Ashish also worked at Persistent Systems as a Module Lead, where they gained experience in software development and worked on network performance monitoring and analytics projects.

Ashish Nagdev earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Shivaji University, graduating in 2012. In terms of certifications, they have obtained several, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2023, the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate from Databricks in June 2023, and the Professional Data Engineer and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google in December 2022 and July 2022 respectively. Additionally, they completed the "Machine Learning with Big Data" and "Introduction to Big Data Analytics" courses from Coursera in 2016, and the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course from Coursera in November 2014.
