Niels Unger

Niels Unger currently serves as the CEO of PZEM since July 2018, also holding positions as Executive Board Member - COO at PZEM, Chairman of the Shareholder Committee of EPZ NV, Chairman of the Shareholders Committee of BMC Moerdijk BV, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sloe Centrale. In addition, Niels Unger became the CEO of EP Netherlands in February 2023. Previously, Niels Unger was the Managing Director at NRG from November 2012 to May 2017, and held the role of Managing Director at Vopak Germany from January 2009 to September 2012. Further experience includes positions at Nuon, where Niels Unger was Managing Director of the Engineering Company from January 2005 to December 2008 and Commercial Director of Nuon Vertrieb GmbH from 2002 to 2004, and as Commercial Director at Neodent Dental Depot BV from 1992 to 2000. Niels Unger is an alumnus of the University of Groningen.
