Matthew Ring

Matthew Ring is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Principal, Director of Research, and Portfolio Manager at Pzena Investment Management since July 2010. Prior experience includes roles as an Analyst Intern at Hawkshaw Capital Management, where Matthew conducted fundamental company analysis, and as an Associate Intern at Circle Peak Capital, focusing on investments in consumer and financial services. Additionally, Matthew has significant experience in the aviation sector as an Aviation Consultant for Simat, Helliesen & Eichner, advising clients on operational and management decisions, and has held engineering roles at General Electric, culminating in a lead position. Matthew holds an MBA in Finance and Value Investing from Columbia Business School, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
