Damian Hunt has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and architecture. Damian started their career at Systeme Ouvert, where they worked as a Solutions Professional on various projects for clients such as Procter & Gamble and Nokia. Damian then joined LexisNexis UK as the Head of Product Technology for five years. Damian later became the Technical Director at Media On Demand Ltd, where they were responsible for architecting and developing software solutions for clients including the UK parliament, Royal Institution of Great Britain, and Universal Studios. Damian then worked at Cubic Transportation Systems as a Senior Developer, primarily focused on designing and implementing a framework and applications for the OXNR project. Following this, Damian had a role at Charteris as a Build Manager and Senior Developer, where they worked on-site at GAME. Damian then joined HP Enterprise Services and served as a Senior Developer and Software Architect, working on projects such as a .NET WinForms project and the development of a framework for ASP. Damian later worked at LexisNexis Butterworths as a Software Development Consultant before moving to their current position as the Head of Software Architecture at Q-Bot Ltd.

Damian Hunt's education history includes completing their A-levels at King Edward VI School, Chelmsford, from 1984 to 1991. Damian achieved A-levels in Maths A1, Further Maths A, Physics A1, and Music C. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Oxford, where they earned a degree in Physics with a 2.1 classification, from 1992 to 1995. Damian then continued their studies at the University of Oxford and completed a D. Phil degree in Solid-state Physics from 1995 to 1999.
