Joe Yurso began their work experience as a Naval Officer in the USN in 1955 and served until 1984. Following that, they worked as a Special advisor to the President at MRS Rosenblatt & Sons from 1984 to 1986. Later, they joined QED Systems, Inc. as the Director of Technical Development in 1986.

Joe Yurso has a comprehensive education history. In 1948, they started their educational journey by enrolling at Penn State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
