Jason Shiffler

Lead Software Engineer at Q-Free

Jason Shiffler has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason began their career as an Intern Software Engineer at the International Research Institute, where they worked on multiple software development teams for Department of Defense agencies. Jason then served as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, conducting microelectronic manufacturing research.

Shiffler joined Sprint in 1999 as a Solution Engineer, responsible for designing wireline and wireless networks. Jason later worked at Netelligent Corporation as a Systems Engineer/Architect, where they contributed to various roles, including pre and post sales engineering. Their most recent role was on the Netelligent architecture team, designing and deploying cloud-based services.

At KPMG US, Shiffler took on the position of Engineering Lead - Voice Services Team, leading the team responsible for voice services. Jason later joined Secure Data Technologies, Inc. as a Systems Architect, and then moved on to Q-Free ASA as a Lead Software Engineer. In their current role, they deliver feature enhancements and bug fixes for the Open Traffic Management System platform and Lane Aware.

Throughout their career, Shiffler has demonstrated skills in software engineering, network design, and system architecture. Jason has experience working with various technologies such as Java, React, Kubernetes, and Cisco HCS. Jason has also showcased their ability to work in agile development environments and perform client-facing demonstrations.

From 1995 to 1999, Jason Shiffler attended the University of Virginia, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
