Duncan Flett is a seasoned language specialist with extensive experience in bilingual communication, particularly in Japanese and English. Currently, Duncan serves as a Language Specialist at Q-Games since May 2021, alongside a previous tenure in recruitment at the same company from 2004 to August 2017. Other notable roles include Advancement Officer at Kyoto International School, logistics positions with Host Broadcast Services and FIFA during the 2002 World Cup, researcher at Guinness World Records, and Programme Coordinator at CLAIR. Duncan's professional journey began with the Japanese Exchange Teaching Program as Coordinator of International Relations. Duncan holds a BA in Chinese and Japanese from the University of Leeds and attended Kansai Gaidai University in 1992.

Q-Games, most known for the successful PixelJunk franchise, The Tomorrow Children: Phoenix Edition, and multiple Star Fox titles, is Located in the heart of Kyoto, an independent video game studio focused on making original games that push the boundaries of gameplay design and visual quality. It was founded in 2001 by industry legend Dylan Cuthbert who worked as the lead developer on the original Star Fox as well as other hit games and tech for Sony and Nintendo, Q-Games is committed to crafting innovative games on all platforms while simultaneously growing the indie games community in Kyoto and abroad. There is an original PixelJunk title on nearly every major platform including notable hits like PixelJunk Monsters, NomNomGalaxy, PixelJunk Eden, and over 20 other games. Q-Games has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry as they continue to impress and innovate. Launched by Q-Games in 2013, BitSummit has grown in size over the years to become the largest indie game event in Japan. Mr. Dylan serves as the event's president.
