Q-Tech Building Consultants Pty Ltd is an Australian company servicing insurers, loss adjusters and claims managers with the assessment of building claims. Q-Tech is independent of any loss adjusting or building business, providing inspection reports on cause of damage and scopes of repair work and also project management. The business was established in August 2018 by Penny James, Mark Yule, Susan McBride and David Radcliff who previously worked together in Cunningham Lindsey and its building consultancy division. Q-Tech is built on a strong foundation of building expertise and insurance knowledge, deep understanding of clients, and commitment to develop and train consultants for the future. The purpose is to provide excellent and sustainable services to insurers, loss adjusters and claims managers to more effectively manage building claims, their costs and time frames. Q-Tech is a completely independent building consultancy; it is neither owned nor controlled by a loss adjusting or building business. Q-Tech reduces risk for clients because it is not influenced by a loss adjusting or building business, reducing the concentration of consultancy services in one or two large loss adjusters, and satisfies separation of roles in complaint management and dispute resolution. Q-Tech’s cause of damage reports identify whether there is a valid insurance claim, our scopes of repair works accurately quantify the building repairs that will determine the cost of a claim and our project management effectively manages the building repair project, quality, costs and time frames. Individually or combined, our services enable a client to have confidence in the way building claims are managed.
