Thomas van der Klis

Thomas van der Klis serves as Corporate Tax Manager at Kuwait Petroleum (Nederland) B.V. since June 2014, overseeing domestic and international corporate taxation and transfer pricing for the Kuwait Petroleum International group, including managing tax-related projects and maintaining the corporate tax structure. Additionally, Thomas holds a similar position at Q8 and previously taught Economics at Johan de Witt-gymnasium from August 2020 to May 2023, acting as a personal coach for students. Prior experience includes a role as Tax Manager at KPMG Meijburg & Co., specializing in multinational taxation and advisory services for various sectors, as well as early positions as a tax consultant and assistant. Thomas's education includes a Master’s Degree for Teachers in Economics from Tilburg University and degrees in Fiscal Economics and Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Utrecht University, respectively.
