Founded in 2021, QA GEN Consultancy brings together over 20 years of combined experience across wireless, IoT, semiconductors and telecoms.

We work with engineering-led and connectivity-driven businesses where hiring is not straightforward, particularly when roles combine technical depth with commercial impact.

Most of our clients come to us when:
→ critical roles have been open too long
→ previous searches haven’t delivered
→ or the hire directly impacts revenue, product or expansion

What we support

We focus on hiring across three core areas:

🔹 Commercial – Sales, Product, Business Development (OEM, design-in, technical sales)
🔹 Operational – Programme, Operations and Supply Chain leadership
🔹 Technical & Engineering – RF, hardware, embedded, R&D and firmware

These are typically roles where:
→ the talent pool is limited
→ competition is high
→ and getting it wrong is costly

Where we operate

We support clients across North America, EMEA and APAC, helping companies build teams both locally and internationally as they scale.

Our network is built within:
→ IoT and connectivity ecosystems
→ semiconductor and hardware-led businesses
→ wireless, automotive and advanced engineering environments

How we work

We don’t focus on volume hiring.

Our work is centred around retained search and strategic hiring support, where clarity, speed and precision matter more than sending CVs.

Beyond identifying candidates, we advise on:
→ role definition and market positioning
→ compensation and candidate expectations
→ realistic hiring strategies across regions

Our approach

We aim to build long-term hires, not short-term fixes.

By working closely with both clients and candidates, we ensure alignment not just on experience, but on impact, culture and long-term growth.

If you’re hiring something critical

We’re always open to sharing what we’re seeing in the market and how similar companies are approaching it.
