Kayam Iqbal

Kayam Iqbal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advisory roles and leadership positions across various organizations. Currently serving as a Specialist Advisor to the Director at Cassidy Group since July 2024, Iqbal has a robust track record in supporting business engagement and community projects. As Chair of the Board of Trustees at The OppO Foundation since August 2014, Iqbal focuses on aiding ex-military personnel and their families in their transition to civilian life. Additional roles include serving as a Diversity and Learning Consultant at QA Ltd and a Diversity and Inclusion Director at the UK Ministry of Defence. Iqbal also contributes as a member of the British Military Covenant and was a Steering Group Member for the Veterans Health Programme with the Cabinet Office. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Iqbal founded JobOppO and served as Director at OppO Recruitment. Prior experience includes working as a Specialist Consultant for the Channel 4 TV series Hunted and a Senior Project Manager at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Iqbal's education includes training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
